Meet Monica
Registered Vet Tech, Vet Tech Specialist (Emergency and Critical Care)
Hello! I have been an RVT since 2006 and spent the majority of my career at an emergency and specialty referral hospital. In 2017, I obtained my VTS (ECC). In 2019, I started working at a biomedical research facility at an academic institution as well. Not only has it expanded my knowledge by working with pigs and sheep, it has allowed me the opportunity to train and educate the veterinary team on emergency and critical care processes.

Combining my two jobs and two passions of emergency medicine and teaching, I have branched off to create my own consulting business! My goal is to build and strengthen veterinary teams by giving them confidence and competency through knowledge and training. With this knowledge, veterinary teams are able to be better prepared for emergencies and stabilize the patient with confidence, increasing team morale and job satisfaction.
